Better Than The Original!

In my opinion at least. It has elements of metal to it, the voices seem unbalanced from the music at times, however, this isn't necessarily a bad thing. Quite a strange mix if I do say so my self. Good job.

SpamWarrior responds:

The voices arent meant to be quite together, but i cant get the guitar quite right :S I'm getting a mate to put some chords down so i can remake this a little better. Thank you for the review, and its ok, you can say its awful :) I wont spite you for it:)

An Excellent Job!!!

It sounds like you have put a great deal of effort into this track. Very well made, everything is very melodic, yet chaotic simultaneously. So many beats to it going at once, all working together in harmony. You did a very good job on this, very enjoying to listen to.

Keep up the good work.

Mike

SpamWarrior responds:

Thank you very much. I like to think it sounds a little different each time, reflecting the personal perception of the track based on a spiritual moment within. Or maybe meditation and green things make me go crazy :) Either's good. Thanks a lot for the review! I call this sound Acid-Jazz-Trance, I dont know if there is a real name apart from experimental really.

Nice cover.

If I may recommend, next time try adding you singing the lyrics to it, some Bass in the background would help out a lot, seeing as Pink Floyd has a lot of deep end sounds, if you have fruity loops, you could use the program to recreate the Bass Riff, or, perhaps ask someone else on Newgrounds to help you out.

Anyhow, you played the guitar quite well, and made a very good cover.

Mike

Tancrisism responds:

Thanks, man. This song doesn't have any lyrics, though. It's just a quiet, guitar riff piece.

But thanks man.

And I don't have fruity loops, but I plan to get it.

But thanks, man.

Decent, with a few major flaws.

The original beat is, for lack of a better description, very bad ass. However, the majority of this song feels rather thin, it is in desperate need of having other "instruments" accompanying the starting beat.
My recommendation, lower the volume of the FL Kick, and add a few other sounds to complement the starting beat, say Bass, Key Board, synth, whatever you like.

You have potential in my opinion, which is why I am being rather critical on this. Keep on practicing.

Mike

SpinTolk responds:

Thanks for the constructive review. Next time when making a song, I'll sure pay attention to this review. When I made this song, I also wasn't as good in FL back then as I am now.

My recent song is ayb, and that already had some more diversity... Thought it still isn't perfect.

Rock On!

I loved this song, it kicked some major ass!
It reminds me a great deal of Primus, which happens to be one of my favorite bands.
I myself also being a Bass player, really enjoyed the awesome Bass lines!

Andersson responds:

Thank you very much! :D

Happy New Year!

Rock On!

This is a great song to remember a great person! He would have loved it! Though it has too low of a score, it should be much higher.

HeavyMetalHampster responds:

Great sound!

Very nice, flows very nice, very smooth, has a bit of a dark sound to it. Good job!

Mike

Biz-Nutz responds:

Sweet! thanks for your feedback! I'm expanding this little by little. I'll post a fuller version when I get it laid out.

Sorry but no.

Listen dude, this is really getting out of hand, I am sorry about being mean, but all you are doing is submiting loop after loop after loop, of things, that for the most part, anyone could have made. Ihave heard a few of your loops that sound like IF THEY WERE MADE INTO A FULL SONG, THEY WOULD BE GOOD! I noticed sometimes you would submite a loop of say, just a two second brush on a drum symbol.
Then you would submit that same loop with one other beat added onto it, and then another.
Please just make a song out of it.
Do you notice how many of your loops are taking up space and spots away from Audio Artists who actually put a lot of time into there songs?

As for this song, this is just a clip from Punk-O-Matic, wow, not much work there. I heard those beats before on that game, and fyi, it doesn't make it yours.

I am sorry if I am sounding mean, but it seems as though all you are trying to do is to make it seem like you have an insane amount of audio.

Most of the loops I have heard of your are made using E-Jay, which is easy enough to use as it is to make a whole song from it, let alone one small loop.

You are not getting anything done by flooding the Audio portal other then pissing off other Audio artist who work hard on there stuff. And it is easy to tell this when you get about 3 downloads IF THAT on all of your songs.

So it seems to me the only reason you do this, is because you like to have a high audio count.

Think about it!

Mike

Cyberdevil responds:

OMFG,that was a really long review!Yeah, this is from punk-o-matic,but its not one of the loops on there,i made it myself and tried to make it fit so it would loop good.I didnt spend too much time on it so i cant say i deserve more on effort.Yes,some of the loops i submit i submit only to get a high audio count, like the "basicbeat" and the "infinity" series. As soon as they get up too 99 each they are done for though.I actually do spend time on my other audios, and i want some of my loops to loop instead of making full songs out of them, the audio portal is for flash artists to get music for their movies mainly, and loops are good if they loop good since they dont take much space and fit in movies.Im sorry if my audio pisses you off and other audio artists too,ill slow down a little.Btw,i dont have any 3 second loops, the shortest loops i have are 6 seconds, also,i cant see any of my audios with only 3 downloads, only when they are first submitted, when people havnt had time to download them yet.Yes,most of my loops are made in ejay.I have made some with midi maker and some others with fruity loops though.I guess that doesnt changing anything, just to point it out.Btw,your music kicks ass!It seems like youve made everything in fruity loops too!I find fruity loops pretty hard to use though,so i dont use it that often.Btw,my music has been used in 12 submissions too, thats whats so good with good loops, even though most of them are made with ejay=)Oh,and thanx for the review too.Its great with your opinion too=)

Nice!!!

I never heard what the band you are covering sounds like, but your song makes me want to hear more of them, very good. Relaxing, good job!

Mike

amaterasu responds:
